Short Term and Respite Stays

Here at Carmel Terrace Assisted Living, we are always envisioning ways in which we can continue to provide support to our seniors and their families within our assisted living community. We offer short-term respite stays for seniors who are active and engaged but need some extra support with day-to-day living. Our short-term stay comes in many forms of support. It is a practical opportunity to try our community on a short-term basis without moving in permanently and to get to know our mission spirit of service, staff, and other residents before considering a move that allows the opportunity to see if this setting is the right fit for your needs.

It is a great gift of time for a caregiver who is tending to a loved one and offers a short break from the role of caregiver or even provides accommodations in which you relocate seasonally for a while.  It is an ideal solution when you need a much longer timeframe when you travel or when you need assistance after a hospital stay. We realize there are many reasons for these kinds of short-term arrangements and we invite you to explore these options based on your individual needs.

You will come to experience any of these options at Carmel Terrace as a “Home away from Home.”

SHORT TERM STAY

• Furnished apartment with linens and towels
• Three (3) daily chef prepared meals
• Medication Management
• Daily supportive care
• Participation in social opportunities and social events
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Daily Mass
• Television and Telephone

You can stay for thirty (30) days with the option to extend your time and as long as ninety (90) days.  This type of stay is based on availability.
